My name is Joe Harding, Jr.

I am the New Pastor now serving Plateau Community Church. I am honored to follow Rev. Peter Brown, who has led admirably as our Pastor/Shepherd. I have big shoes to fill.

I am a graduate of Southern Wesleyan University with a B.S. in Christian Ministries and a graduate of Asbury Theological Seminary with an M.Div.  I have been a Wesleyan (Denomination) Pastor for 27 years. During this time, I served two churches, one for 8 years and the other for 19 years. I have experienced God's love through the People of God and desire nothing more than to continue serving and living in His Life-Transforming Love!

I have been happily married to my wife, Kim, for 35 years. We have two amazing, grown sons, Bennette and Bryson and a four legged pooch named Pogi.

I want to invite you to share with me in this Journey of Faith as we, together, grow closer to our Friend and Savior, Jesus Christ. His Love for us led Him to the Cross of Calvary, where He shed His Blood for the Forgiveness of all our sins. He opened the door so we may experience Eternal Life, starting now.

I enjoy building deep and lasting relationships. A cup of coffee or a meal is a wonderful way to get to know someone! Life is so much better together; we do need each other!

As the church thrives, we must view ourselves in ministry and mission together. We must commit to being Word-centered and Prayer-driven. I believe it is true that nothing of eternal consequence, transformative, or life-changing happens individually or communally as a body unless we are committed to keeping the Word of God and Prayer centered in all that we do.
